PTSD is very real

Having lived with a Vietnam vet for 50 plus years it brought back memories of the hard nights and days after he returned. Helping him get past all those memories was a challenge for our marriage and even 50 plus years later something’s send him back in a hurry. Hang in there and keep loving each other.

Home Front

The narrator was excellent, and really I really enjoyed the characters. I actually learned a lot about PTSD.

Kristin Hannah has done it once again.

Marvelous and heart warming of a family struggling to deal with military issues, that take them all where they never thought they would be, courage, love, disparate for answers. Lots of tissues needed for this one and once again a hit for Kristin Hannah.

emotional ride!

loved this read...however a myriad of emotions were experienced! if you have ever experienced a soldier with PTSD this will be an eye opener!!

Awesome book

Wonderful insight as to what our military hero’s go through…my father was a marine and had gone through horrible times in Viet Nam, the book made me cry at times. Very heartfelt!!!

Definitely wish I had read and not listened....

I love Kristin Hannah, a big fan of her books. However, the narration on this book was almost unbearable. Completely over dramatic, too screechy, too much. I found this to be an informative and interesting storyline, but I wish I had read a hardcopy rather than the audible. I breathed a sigh of relief when I was finally finished.

Fabulous insight to military life

This book covered all of life’s emotions. I highly recommend it. Her portrayal of the military and relationships connected to it was awesome.

The performance is kind of dramatic but it really fits this story. This was another great book.

Horrible narration!

I almost stopped listening after the first conversation between characters.. by the time she narrated her version of a 4 year ago le, I was ready to delete the entire thing. Only finished because I believe so strongly in the subject.
