Whenever I read these books, I actually pictured Debi Mazar as Stephanie, so I was excited to see that she would be the narrator. But, as good an actress as she is, she's not great at narrating :(

Too short, poor performance
Would you try another book from Janet Evanovich and/or Debi Mazar?
I am reading all the Stephanie Plum Series. The narrator of the first few books was awesome. This narrator is too fast, and is hard to understand at times.
How could the performance have been better?
Slower speed
Was High Five worth the listening time?
Yes, just too short for the $ paid for it.

Terrible narration awesome story
I love this storyline but the narration is terrible. She talks too fast, without any change in voice for characters making it hard to follow along.
Thank God for the lady that said the unabridged version of this book is out on YouTube for free. I was prepared to skip this one but wanted to hear the story progression but couldn’t handle the narration.
I’m listening to the unabridged version now on YouTube.

Story good but…
The story was good but I hate books that are abridged I didn’t want to skip for fear I would miss something important like the crazy boxer finally getting his due. Still wandering what I missed from not having the unabridged version. Not fair!

Feels like we missed a lot of the story
Did not like the narrator. Why can’t I get the unabridged book on audible? Really missed out on this one.

Her voice
Her voice and speech are too fast. She faded in and out of character voices.
