Great book
Awesome plot and great slice of life. Great chick romance book. Some of this series don't have enough suspense or a dramatic enough challenge that needs overcoming, but this one was pretty good and I had trouble putting it down. There was really good character development too. And as always this narrator was awesome!

A solid installment
The second I heard the name Bree Valenzuela, I knew this installment was going to be intense. I enjoyed the story of Connor and Leslie. Both newcomers to Virgin River, they nevertheless found their home there and with each other. There's a little bit of insta-lust going on, which was fine because it didn't translate to insta-love right away. Both their backstories are substantive and fascinating. I love that Ms. Carr concentrated on Connor and Leslie yet still engaged our favorite characters and introduced new ones.
Therese Plummer’s narration is great, as usual.
Overall, I think Hidden Summit is one of the better stories in the series.

Good story, good narration...
The Virgin River series is just so good. Every story has romance, suspense and a beautiful Happily Ever After. The main couple Connor and Leslie were just perfect for each other and they are both good people so I was definitely rooting for them. And then again this series has very likable recurrent characters specially Jack and Preacher. I've fallen in love with the whole town on Virgin River and I'm sad to know that it will soon come to an end.
Narration: it's Therese Plummer. By now the name speaks for itself. She is just one of the best narrators. There's no way she can possibly get less than four stars for her narration. She has an uncanny ability to portray each character so distinctively. This story has several men, women and even children as characters and you could differentiate them all.
I definitely recommend the Virgin River series and ANY book narrated by Therese Plummer. Very credit worthy.

Good Stuff
Good story all the way through. Good characters. Done by a really good author and great narrator.Will always equal another hit for Virgin River. What a great place it would be to live!

A great place to hide
If you could sum up Hidden Summit in three words, what would they be?
Suspensful, loving, supportive
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hidden Summit?
When Conner arrives in Virgin River after Leslie tells him that she was hurt when she help her neighbor get rid of her abusive boyfriend.
