It seems like good luck when gorgeous and mysterious Ken Callahan stops to help single mom Chris Nelson with her car. But then she breaks his arm...then his toe...and then his heart. Not easily discouraged, Ken moves into her basement...cooks her potholder in the spaghetti sauce...attempts to seduce her with cookies...and destroys her favorite pan by trying to make a roast in it. All may seem lost for Chris and Ken, until a meddlesome Aunt Edna, a ride on a Zamboni and a genuine love of family all conspire to turn their luck around.

I could see the the samethings happening to myself as our heroine, so light and enjoyable to slightly more involved as story progressed.
The accidents that brought them together.
I have not listened to other performance but she was good and did well with characters.
Accidents happen and this is a sweet accident.
My first Janet E book I will be looking for more, hoping to find more from her like this......soo cute.
As in embarrassing that I read this. Maybe I'm not feeling this genre, but this was awful. Unrealistic, predictable, trite. I like light reading/listening as much as anybody, but this goes beyond some level of "light" for me.
I love all of Janet Evanovich books and this was no exception. The characters are so fun! It is a great book to listen to while I am driving long distances. The narrator was very good at keeping the characters alive.
Say something about yourself!
I enjoy Janet Evanovich but this book is the most annoying ever; she is trying to take advantage of her name to publish boos that simple shouldn't even deserve to be publised. I don't usually write a review but seriously, this book, someone has to be warned. I love the bond agent series, but this book is really stupid, period. If she keeps using her name to write books like that, soon, she won't have any name recognitation left...
