Ven, Roz, Olive and Frankie have been friends since school. They day-dreamed of glorious futures, full of riches, romance and fabulous jobs. Twenty-five years later, Olive cleans other people's houses to support her lazy, out-of-work husband and his ailing mother. Roz cannot show her caring husband Manus any love because her philandering ex has left her trust in shreds. And she and Frankie have fallen out big time. But Ven is determined to reunite her friends and realise the dream they had of taking a cruise before they hit 40. Before they know it, the four of them are on the high seas. But can 16 days of luxury and indulgence distract from the tension and loneliness that await their return?

I have listened to it more than once already.
Any of Milly Johnson books all are great.
She was excellent.
Without going into details about the story. It was when Venice explained everything to the girls and why she did what she did.
Just a great light happy holiday read. I read it on the Greek Islands which is why I particularly liked the setting.
Satisfying story of romance, friends, and adventure. I enjoyed it greatly and have now added several more books from the author. Can't wait to start the next one.
I am a total audiobook addict! I travel quite a bit for work and listen to them while I drive. Always searching for a good author to follow
It is a fantastic story and the narration is fabulous to listen to
I love the whole story but the best bit is the end
I love her!! She does great accents and makes the stories great to listen to
It made me laugh quite a bit. The girls in the story have a good sense of humour. No tears in this one though
I have listened to all of Milly Johnsons books and I just love them all SO much.
It was a great romantic story. Most enjoyable. Never got boring, well read enjoyed every chapter.
I have thoroughly enjoyed every Milly Johnson book.
Would have to be the Captain.........
A lovely storey with a good ending.
It was a delightful story mix of great characters delivered in a fantastic way
An Autumn Crush by Milly Johnson
Just a great as the others
It is divine to while away the time, I found it addictive
Its an weird thing but my favourite genre to read is murder/mystery books but when it comes to audio books, I love ChicLit! Odd I know!
So enjoyable but at first I didn't think i'd be able to keep track of everyone. Once I did, the story of the 4 girls was great. Most of it is set on a cruise ship and testimony to the story, I now want to take a cruising holiday!
"Trust me ladies this book is a must read."
OMG I love this book, its very well written.
It's funny, warm and made me laugh out loads.
I really couldn't put this book down it's about 4 friends with there own story's and I feel that by the end they were my friends I new them so well.

"When you love Milly Johnson..."
Really enjoyed this as I always do with Milly Johnson, and the narrator is fab as always!
I loved this book. It had a bit of everything, real life characters, moving bits, sad bits, love, laughter, romance. I really laughted an awful lot. I cried too. I couldn't put it down. I was rooting for all the characters. I felt like I was on a journey with these ladies. I was sad when the book came to an end. Definitely read/listen to this book. The narrater was a great fit for the style of the story and characters. Its a great easy going book to get lost in. Enjoy!
"A feel good book with fun from start to finish."
I have never read anything by Milly Johnson, to be honest I hadn’t even heard of her. What a feel good book, with sheer fun from start to finish, this most certainly will not be my last. For a change I wanted an easy, fun read and that is exactly what I got. I loved this audiobook from within about ten minutes of the start and was always disappointed when I had to stop listening to do something else. We meet the four best friends when they are still at school and then meet them again later in life when they go on a cruise. Throughout the book it felt like I was the fifth member of the group and going along with them. If only…. I wish! Each of the women has had various life experiences, which as the listener we can easily relate to. The four girls are realistic, down to earth and all from Yorkshire. The narration by Colleen Prendegast couldn’t have been better, she was brilliant, there was never any issues trying to define which character was speaking, credit to her. Of course I would recommend this to everyone, but if you like to analyse the plot, interpret the characters, look for hidden meanings then maybe this is not for you. However, I loved it.
"Loved this Book"
Didn't want the story to end, reminded me of what I should be doing and friendships that will always remain, loved the part where Olive revisits her happy place in Greece and the outcome-
As always, the characters are brought to life & believable.
The story is one of every girls dream to win the lottery and share it with the closest friends who mean the most.
A feel good book!
No, It was a brilliant book but I am just one of those people who don't see the point of reading a book again, when you know what is going to happen!
The storyline, the characters, the details about the cruise and the food. I am really going to miss the 4 girls in the book, I feel like I know them. They reminded me of myself and 3 of my friends when we were always together. There was a lot of detail about 'cruise holidays' I've never been on a cruise so it gave me an insight on what it might be like. If you have b een on a cruise, you will really enjoy it too. I didn't want it to end.
Colleen Prendergast is an excellent narrator. This is the 3rd book I have listened to by Milly Johnson and she has narrated them all. Her accents and voice tones are just perfect for this style of book.
Yes, but impossible. 13hrs!!
I love Milly Johnsons books. They would suit all ages, especially 30/40 year olds. Part of the book had me really laughing out loud. It was funny, dramatic, sad, interesting and very entertaining.
A lovely light listen, knitted well together. This is my second Milly Johnson read/listen. Four friends on a cruise, a delight!
