Publisher's summary

Lucy Savage is not having a good week. Her cheating husband, Bradley, lobbed the final insult when he stood her up in divorce court. A dye job gone wrong has left her hair green. And someone is trying to kill her. To top it off, sexy cop Zack Warren is certain that the very same man Lucy is trying to wash right out of her hair is the same Bradley he wants to arrest for embezzlement. When someone shoots at her and then her car blows up, Zack decides she needs 24-hour police protection.

Next thing Lucy knows, Zack has moved in to her big Victorian house, making them both sleepless...and not just from things that go bump in the night.

Sweet Story

I liked this story, but the narrator's baby voices for the male characters was kind of off-putting. It was fun, though.

more is more

Not my favourite Crusie book, but light and funny. The first time I listened, I gave it 3 stars, but now I have listened to it many more times and the more I listen the more I like it. I don't know why, but this applies to most Crusie books.

Decent Story

The plot was interesting as were characters. The narrator's voice is much too high to read for a male character. At some points I had to go back to double check which character was speaking.

Funny & exciting.

I had my doubts at first, but it turned out to be funny and sweet. It would’ve been a little better with a man narrating with her as well. But they take what they can get I guess. Otherwise I would recommend it.

Horrid narrator

Story was ok. The heroine of the story made stupid choices and was unbelievable, actually most of the book was unrealistic IMO. The narrator made it almost unbearable to listen to. She lacked range and I found myself going back to decipher which character voice was which since they all sounded similar even the male voices.
I’ve listened to two other books by this author and enjoyed them. However I would not recommend this title.

Very cute

I thought the story was so cute. But some of the concepts in it were a little bit far-fetched. But not so much that it made you want to stop listening. It’s a story of a lady who was getting divorced from her estranged husband when a cop is looking for a suspect it goes by a similar name. Play crash into each other literally if something sparks from there. I thought they were so cute. Nice story

Cruise never disappoints

Story is another charming light romance. Stauffer’s
narration is lively and appropriate but her voice is too high pitched.
