Excellent story

What made the experience of listening to Genghis Lords of The Bow the most enjoyable?

The narrator, Richard Ferrone, did an exceptional job. He is the narrator for the John Sanford "Prey" series, and as usual brought an excellent story to life with his voice.

What did you like best about this story?

The author did a masterful job of weaving history and what "might have happened" into a spellbinding story.

What about Richard Ferrone’s performance did you like?

Ferrone is very professional and his voice is alive and excited. He has the ability to bring the characters to life. Very well done.

Not Dissapointed

I loved the first book in this series and I was disappointed when I saw there was a new narrator but Richard Ferrone does a fine job as well. The book while not as interesting as the first is still a very good and an entertaining read.

Great sequel

To the first book. Author & teader do a great job of captuing the persona of one of the most amazing characters in history. I have a feeling that I am going to deeply regret the passing of Genghis!

legendary story masterfully your decently narrated

I love Conn Iggulden, and it's been fascinating to learn about Genghis.

I've seen people talk negatively about this narrator, and though I love Steve Rudniki and would've loved it if he continued; this guy is fine. I don't love how he stresses Berte, and it's mildly whiney, but yalla - it's a great story!

Lords of the Bow - Part 2 of a trilogy

If you begin reading the first book of the series 'Birth of an Empire', you won't be able pass up 'Lords of the Bow' or 'Bones of the Hills'. Rich with history, this is one of the best stories that I have ever listened to. Conn Iggulden has done a superb job of taking some pieces of history and stitching them together into a great story.

Another Good Yarn

I almost didn't listen to this sequel due to the whining about the change of narrator. True, the first narrator's voice is much easier to listen to and, false, I quickly became accustomed to the new narrator without any problem. The story was less focused as it developed with lots of side stories; I'm afraid I enjoy the conquest narrative the most. Nonetheless, I'm glad I listened and plan to listen to the next two, at some point.
