"Frenetic and deliciously slapstick sequel to Sinners & Saints…These frenemies [Rachel Jackson Adams and Jasmine Larson Bush] are drama queens at their best and smartest, a combination that will leave fans praying for their further misadventures." (Publishers Weekly)
This was a very entertaining book. I will listen to it again for sure.
I liked that this story wasn't predictable (No Spoilers). And the narrator Patricia R. Floyd is excellent.
I have listened to several of Ms. Floyd's other performances and she never disappoints; she is always excellent.
Foes to Friends
If you are looking for something comical and fun to listen too to pass the time...this is an excellent choice.
These two 1st ladies are so drama filled you just have to love them! I love this series! These two authors are so in tune it's like they're one. 5 star must read!
Tell us about yourself!
the narrator was very good
I will look for her again real soon. it is worth a listen
Everyone needs a friend like Mae Francis. From the beginning on the Oprah Winfrey until they end up on the Virgin Islands , first lady Jasmine and first lady Rachell love hate relationship was halarious . The ending was a little predictable.
My favorite character is Mae Francis. She has a connection to everybody! Without her, Jasmine couldn't get away with half of the schemes that she partakes in. Jasmine and Rachel are cool too!
There were many times when I laughed out loud, but mainly I was curious about who was framing Rachel and why.
Good read that will hold your interest!
Both of these ladies are excellent story tellers whose styles weave together effortlessly. They are ultra talented. I am not a fan of the particular narrator's voice. But she does well at giving life and individualism to each character.
