loved it, it was so sad but it's reality of life. it's well written and Susan Erickson always does an excellent performance. I listen to firefly first and then fly away I was so hooked, it's unforgettable story and makes you think of your own life. Cherish your family and friends and love one another. Love, Peace, Joy, Communicate and Forgiveness is so important.

Your Eyes Will Leak

You don’t have to read Firefly Lane prior to reading this book however I do highly recommend you do. This book can stand on its own but if you read Firefly Lane, the first book, then you’ll understand the significance of some of the details! ENJOY

Loved it!

Took me a bit to keep up with the narrators back and forth in time. I think I needed to be more focused when listening.

Captivating characters and strong emotional ties among the family make this an enjoyable read.

I enjoy Kristin Hannah’s books, especially Firefly Lane and Fly Away. Her characters are
strong and believable. Fly Away brought the saga of Firefly lane to a positive conclusion.

What a beautiful follow up to Tully and Kates story

There are some negative reviews here and while I agree that this is not a stand alone, this was a beautifully written follow up that adequately describes some of the many ways that grief affects all of the loved ones, and the healing journey to not just grief, but years of generational trauma.

Fantastic

I watched Firefly Lane series and hated to see it end. Found book 2 and decided to listen to the audio of Fly Away. I cried and cried in the beginning. Beautifully written and I enjoyed very much.

I just loved this book!

I am so glad I read Firefly Lane first & believe the readers should definitely do the same! As I’ve said before these characters are just about the same age as I was when I met my best friend literally I think I was 12 or 13 but the same years which would’ve been 73,74, but I was in Southern California. I love this book because it has so many references to that time. It really touches my heart.!
