Steamy and sexy! Loved it!,

Fixed On You by Laurelin Paige has will leave you panting! This book was utterly sexy and had just the right amount of angst and frustration to leave you wanting more. Alayna Withers and Hudson Pierce are two emotionally broken people that probably shouldn't be together, but it is in their brokenness that they seem to find themselves.

Alayna has issues with obsession; she becomes fixated on things, men to be exact. Stalking and restraining orders are part of her past. As she tries to plan her future at club she works for, and having just finished her MBA, Alayna thinks she has it all planned out, that is until she meets Hudson Pierce. He is just the kind of man, that she can find herself fixating on again.

Hudson Pierce is every girl's dream. He's wealthy, confident, handsome, and just oozes sex appeal. The man walks into a room, and he commands the attention. Hudson is an alpha male in every sense of the word. He sets his sights on Alayna for two specific purposes. These two reasons are to be compartmentalized, kept separate. Hudson is incapable of love, he says so himself.

When Alayna and Hudson come together, even if they aren't touching, the sexual tension is palpable! The chemistry between these two is scorching, and the sex...mind-blowing! I loved both Alayna and Hudson. Even though they were both emotionally broken individuals, I felt and saw the inner strength they each had, and I really pulled for them. My heart ached for Alayna as she tried to build herself up and heal herself and Hudson. I fell for Hudson almost immediately... I love and impossibly damaged man that I want to try to fix.

I absolulely loved Fixed On You by Laurelin Paige, and I can't wait to listen to more from Alayna and Hudson in the next books, Found In You and Forever Wtih You. This book was sexy, angsty, emotional and had the perfect amount of dysfunction to really pull you in. Loved it!

Fans of Gideon and Eva will love it!

I GOT MY FIX

I know a lot of people will compare this to 50 shades. But isn't that what a lot of people are looking for? Well this series and couple will not disappoint. Seeing as the 4th book in the series is the delicious twist that will set this series apart from the rest.

Hudson. Doesn't his name really say it all? Well the only thing is the author doesn't spend any time making you wonder about him. He's always agreeable always the perfect man. Makes you go hmmmmm? But that leaves you with Lanie and all her insecurities that she has to overcome.

If your looking for sex, this book has plenty of it. Like once, twice.. maybe three times each chapter? I may be exaggerating but there is non-stop lust fest in this book.

The narrator is absolutely perfect for the book and she has my attention from the get go.

My precious...lol!

A non spoiler review of entire trilogy. The series is actually pretty great in the plot line, charecter development and love story. The biggest drawbacks are the writing and world building, which are too immature and cheesy. My biggest cringe is the pet name used because it is often "precious" ...wish they could edit it out or swap it, I think it'd make the book more of a success in that choice alone. However I do recommend only because it really kept me guessing through the series which is hard to do in romance and the books built well on each other.

I rolled my eyes in every chapter

This book was so unbelievable. I was so tired of the main character crying about everything that was happening and being so obsessive to the point of aggravation. And his mom was a total bitch. I couldn’t wait to return the book. I also like it when the narrator changes their voice so you can distinguish who is talking and you could not do that in this book.

interesting read

Two people with dark past. Both appear lost and reliant on the other in their own way. But I couldnt help but to think there is so much more to the story, and of course there is. Downloading book two while writing this review. How dark will this story go? Can two lovers really save each other? This author has my full attention.

Surprisingly entertaining!

If your into these kinds of books you'll love this. It's a 50 shades/ Crossfire kind of story that is convincingly hot and made me immediately go for the next book. Well worth the credit.

Wow

This is an awesome tale from beginning to end! I love how relatable both Lanie and Hudson are. And that they both have broken things about themselves. I cannot wait to see what happens next!

Best book

I loved this audio version. The narrator was awesome. The best book I read in a long long long time

Enjoyable enough

The storyline is good but I didn’t fall in love with the characters. Might be that I can’t relate to them in any way.
The chemistry between them was good and I enjoyed some parts of the story more than other.
No unnecessary descriptions of surroundings and good dialogues.
As for the performance; it was as good as it can be with only a female narrator. But her voice is strong and clear so it’s not bad.

It’s a good 4 star story and normally I would buy the next book but since my reading commitments are piled high at the moment I let it be for a while. It’s almost HEA so I’m good💙
