Really liked the narration on this one :-)

The writing was up to par. But I think it's the narrator that really pulls me into audiobooks. I thought this one did a really good job with the voices. I could tell who was speaking by the way she did the voice without even having to listen to the narration to know. Was it just me or was she even doing an Alaskan accent for the characters from Alaska? :-)
I didn't realize the sexual scenes would be so graphic but I liked this one.

An enjoyable read!

This book had a bit a of weak storyline - however does deliver overall. I love the tough women that Julie writes about. They are self-sufficient and ballsy. Waiting for the next Garwood book!

Story line is questionable

Overall, it was ok. Not great for this author. The story bounced around, seemed like she worked to hard to create this story as the flow was off. Didn’t take much to get distracted away from it. I wouldn’t waste a credit on this. I would wait till it goes on sale and use for a quick fill

Suspenseful, engaging, romantic

The descriptions are vivid and provide clear environmental perspectives for characters developed in a manner that the reader is engaged from the start.

Great read!

This is a truly wonderful book with a first class reader. The plot is good without being any more contrived than is absolutely necessary. I listened to the book because I was looking for a story being performed by Rebecca Lowman, and she was superb- as always. If you’re looking for a great read, it would be very hard to find a better one than this.

There's a reason why she is my favorite author.

She's right on top again with her latest book. Adventure, romance, great!

What made the experience of listening to Fire and Ice the most enjoyable?

I love Garwood's characters. My favorite part of her books is how the characters talk to each other. I find the conversations to be very amusing. Her male characters tend to be almost interchangeable but I really enjoy the spunk all of her heroines have.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Fire and Ice?

I loved the last five minutes the most. I wonder how Jack and Bobby will get on?

What about Rebecca Lowman’s performance did you like?

I think she does a pretty good job. I do find her to read a little too slowly for my preference but I do enjoy her voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

I'm not that creative, you will have to ask someone else.

Well worth a credit. I do recommend Garwood's historical novels, they are phenomenal.

Great

This is the 2nd of 3 audio books. The first is "the Murder List" . It's Reagan & Alec Buchanan's story. The 2nd is Sophia & Jack 's story and the 3rd book is "Fast Track", Cordie & Aiden's story. All are Great stories! Rebecca Lowman does a good job narrating. All worth a credit. 😊

What did you like best about this story?
good story and pace. good humor, but listener must be listening for it.

What three words best describe Rebecca Lowman’s performance?
She is not the best. Needs work on her male voices and pace of reading. Ms Garwood has got to find a reader who can do justice to her writing. Reader has to have a sexy male voice,and the correct cadence to capture Ms Garwood humor and wit. The readers for Fire and Ice,Sizzle and Ideal Man have to be listened to twice to appreciate the readers!!
