Excellent story and narration
The movie is one of my favorites, and I've been looking forward to listening to the book for some time. It is true, that the book is better than the movie. The story was sooo good with twist and turns I never saw coming. The narrator was excellent as well.

One of the Best Victorian drama
The characters of two orphaned girls who have intertwined lives. Magnificent mystery and when you think you’ve figured it out, another plot twist. The best book, read well. I love Victorian genre, this is something unique.

unsatisfying for all you are put through
the writing was fine the story was questionable but it does keep you engrossed. For all the feelings of anger that you feel by how they characters are treated there's almost no payoff. The way the characters interact with one another in stressful situations is also Highly Questionable. It's a long slog and not worth it, in my opinion. The mystery itself is also a bit uninteresting. I would have been happier if I hadn't read this book

, very slow but still a good read
the story is almost unbearably slow with long descriptors. but it almost sets seeing like a movie would so I actually really liked it, there are lots of twists and turns that you really don't see coming which kept my attention through the slower parts

Wonderful experience
What an imaginative story. The writing was so detailed and concise, it moved the story at such a pace you were drawn in and couldn’t escape. The reader was marvelous. Every character’s voice was unique and distinguishable. Half way through I just couldn’t put it down. Thank you.
