LOOK 👀 BEFORE YOU LEAP

Would you consider the audio edition of Finding Mrs. Wright to be better than the print version?

I only know the audio version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Finding Mrs. Wright?

The whole book was intense, but the most memorable was the mother. She was so self centered, little to no knowledge of taking care of her child's medical condition. Relying on non professional opinions & treatment, she just about killed her sick child.

Which character – as performed by Corey Allen – was your favorite?

The daddy Devon Wright, he did not look before he leaped in this baby mama drama relationship, which nearly snuffed out the life of his most cherished possession.

Who was the most memorable character of Finding Mrs. Wright and why?

The mother Shauntae had some issues. It was suggested that she was a victim of sexual abuse. And money hunger schemes & the self-centeredness was a manifestation of that abuse. She was one sick & dangerous chick.

Any additional comments?

I totally enjoyed the narrator Corey Allen, once again he brought life to the characters of this book. Certain narrators bring life to the author's words and that's exactly what Corey Allen bought.

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend this book. It had a great storyline and was a good clean book. I liked how the issues they face like baby mama drama, children diabetes, and loving God enough to keep his commandments. This book made me laugh, cry and mad. I wish this book was a movie or TV show. The narrator was good.

Awful

What disappointed you about Finding Mrs. Wright?

There was a lot of drama, but it didn't really focus on the title of the book, yes he found his Mrs. Wright, but it was rushed and the title should really have been Crazy Baby Momma.

What could Sherri L. Lewis have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Maybe added some romance between Devon and Cassandra, it wasn't romantic at all.

How could the performance have been better?

I don't know.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Disappointment, it made me not want to listen to the second installment. It was just boring.

"Finding the worthy storyline"

I was very disappointed in this book. Although it portrayed Devon in a positive light (a man doing whatever it took to care for his daughter) the antics of his babymama called for more serious measures. It was very nerve wrecking to read that he wasn't taking "real-life" measures to secure her safety. I also think that the narrator could have done a better job. The content of this book wasn't a "right fit" for him (in my opinion). It made for a OK read.
