Silly but Funny
This is a silly story but I enjoyed it. It's a laugh out loud story. Do not add this to your library unless you are ok with the silly and ridiculous. I would love to read another parody from this author.

Laughably Erotic
i knew i was in for a parody, but never having read or watched 50 Shades, I didn't really know what the parody was. the narrator read beautifully and was quite articulate; the variety of charachter voices was surprisingly fitting.

An impulse buy from years ago, during my 'vitriolic anti-Meyer teen' phase. The premise is a little dull, and the satire is not quite biting, but the narrator herself has enough fun to let you do the same.

An Amusing Parody - Good if you're a guy
Face it. You're a guy and you want to know what these books are all about but you don't really want to get caught reading the Original. Henceforth, this amusing and charming parody written by Fanny Merkin and wonderfully read/performed by Allyson Ryan. Ryan captures the outrageousness of the story and makes you giggle and the expanded themes ...and sometimes overexpanded themes (I hope) which are in the original "Fifty Shades of Grey".
I found it funny, the storyline a bit thin, but good for a laugh and roll of the eyes.

This book parodies the Fifty Shades of Grey series, but I can’t decide which is worse Fifty Shames or the source material it parodies. This book derives it’s humor from pop culture references which within 10 years will be largely forgotten.
