I tried I really did...

The narration was a trial, I did not finish. I read the physical copy of this book and liked it and figured listening would give it a new light. I was wrong the narration was a burden to deal with. The male voice was almost funny. I will not be listening to it anymore.

What made the experience of listening to Fifty Shades of Grey the most enjoyable?

Ive read all the series of books....so I wanted to experience listening next...l enjoyed listening to them but a different reader was needed. Took me the whole first book to get into her voice.

What did you like best about this story?

I love the movement of the relationship between Christian and Ana and of course the sex scenes.

What didn’t you like about Becca Battoe’s performance?

I imagine her reading "Legally Blonde" or something like that....for such complex character's, she doesn't move easily from one to the next with a depth thats needed.

Who was the most memorable character of Fifty Shades of Grey and why?

Christian is my favourite character....besides being 'hot and rich'.....I love his journey, the good, the bad and the controlling.

i enjoyed the story, there is not many stories out there like this and Becca Battoe was a delight to listen i could not wait to listen to the next book

Any additional comments?

All over the workd women are not doing house work, not picking up the kids form school beacuse they're hiding reading this book with their legs crossed. I'm no prude but I didn't like the S and M content and couldn'tget past the violence to women fantasy or not. If your fantasy is this sort of thing go for it you will love it.

Sensational read!

An awe-inspiring novel...loved it! The characters were brilliant...i just couldn't put it down. Highly recommend this book and the other 2 that follow.

Not for the Faint Hearted

What did you love best about Fifty Shades of Grey?

Addictive story, alllllllllllllllllllot of sex, but you need to keep reading to hear whats going to happen to these two very different characters.

I love it. It reminds me a bit of Twilight series with the added sex.

Anna. She sounds like a really nice, easy going person. As long as Christian was in another country!

Sometimes you need something to push your buttons

I'm not a great consumer of trashy mags but sometimes it answers some primal needs, just like this trilogy. It has all the ingredients - the dark brooding male who needs some saving, the innocent heroine...throw in some sex and you have the makings of a best selling trilogy
