This story never gets old!

I must have read Dracula half a dozen times since high school, so much better than any film that has been attempted to portray Stoker's brilliance!

wonderful story

My first experience with listening to a Bram Stoker book. I wanted to hear the unabridged book, so this was great for me, but it is quite wordy, I would think that there is plenty of room for an abridged version to cover all the important content of the story. I love how the story unfolds. There is a reason that this is a classic.
Good quality audio, well performed.

Excellent,

I love reading the Classic novels, especially those considered gothic horror stories. Not only does reading such novels give one a glimpse into history, one’s imagination becomes thoroughly intrigued by each character and the relationships forged under adverse circumstances.

Perhaps the one thing I like about the ‘original’ novels is that they often are not at all how Hollywood has depicted them. It’s an awakening of sorts.

Highly recommend.

A masterpiece of Gothic Horror

A powerful performance of the quintessential work by Bram Stoker. Almost impossible to put down.

Hauntingly Chilling. Who turned Dracula?

I dreamt of the haunting story whilst I slept and thought of dear Mina when not reading by day. While listening, I was caught up in the love and of the dread of losing a dear one to The Undead, and yet, Dracula's death was a tragedy in that all of his knowledge of centuries past could not be used to improve mankind.

Captivatingly toothy

I have really enjoyed listening to this 1st part of the book, it has been great seeing how the tale develops. 90% of it is good listening, and the other 10% is not very compelling but relavent to the story line so needs listening to. My friend thoroughly enjoyed it too and is listening to it a second time.

True Masterpiece

Always wanted to listen to Dracula and so I bought the audio expecting to slog through some old-fashioned, boring prose. As I listened, it didn’t take long to realize this is an incredibly well-written novel and I can see why it stands out. The performances were excellent and engaging.
