Laugh out loud!

What does Peggity Price bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?

This is one of those good books that the narrator makes great! She has the different accents and personalities down pat. I live in Central Texas and know women just like the characters described. The story itself is delightful and the skillful narration brings it to glorious, uproarious life. So sit back, tune in, and enjoy a great listen!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Is is really necessary to use foul language? Not everyone wants to hears those words. I liked the characters, but won't be listening to or reading another in the series.

mystery, humor, exccitement

Dixie Cash is wonderful, delightful. The two ladies of Salt Lick, Texas are up to their beautiful heads of hair in New York and the Texas girls deliver humor, intrigue, mystery, excitement.

Cash is a winner

I loved listening to this audio book, since the narrator has a genuine sounding Texas twang, just the accent I grew up with and hear every day. These two gals really do a bang-up job solving a mystery.

What did you love best about Don't Make Me Choose Between You and My Shoes?

While there were times that the language was a little too much for me, overall the story is believable and hilarious! Good thing I listened to it at home, because I couldn't help laughing out loud at the situations that seem to find the characters - really, they aren't out looking for trouble. Trouble just seems to find them!

Edwina and Debbie Sue just get better..........

ALL of this series are good. I especially enjoyed this one--Edwina's airport adventures had me laughing out loud. The narration of these are great too.

Where does Don't Make Me Choose Between You and My Shoes rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Dixie Cash has written a very fun, VERY FUNNY series of books about two strong women in Texas living their lives as best they can while cutting hair and solving mysteries! I read THIS book first and then went back to find all of the books in the series because it was that good! The books are very good but the narrator of this series, Peggity Price (don't you just love that name!) is the perfect choice and she enhances these very good books with her excellent performance. THIS book is on my list of favorites because it makes me laugh every time I hear it!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Edwina because I want her car.

What does Peggity Price bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She makes the characters distinct and performs the dialog as one that has lived or worked in that area. She sounds like Texas and her delivery is exactly like someone from that area would say it-same energy and emotions. She makes the characters feel real.

If you could take any character from Don't Make Me Choose Between You and My Shoes out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Edwina because I want her car!

Bickering abound

I can easily say this book is about two annoying bickering Texans who blunder
their way through New York City. Quite easily the most annoying audiobook I’ve ever listened to
