Dolores Claiborne has a story to tell. But it is not quite what the police had expected.
Dolores Claiborne has a confession to make.... She will take her time. Won't be hurried. Will do it her way, sparing neither details nor feelings. Hers or anyone else's.
This is the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Truth that takes you to the edge of darkness. Dolores Claiborne has a story to tell, and you'd better pay attention - or else.

"Stephen King might just be my favourite author."
How good is this book. (Rhetorical)
I was hooked from the start. Great reader too.
Not a book I'm used to reading but engrossing throughout. He makes you feel like you know the characters x
"King is a genius"
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Gripping story that I didn't want to leave and first class, remarkable narration. I highly recommend.
Amazingly well written book. Another great by a fantastic author!
Frances Sternhagen is the perfect voice for this, it works incredibly well.
"loved it. "
great writing, great narrator, great story. I have always loved Stephen King books, and this one didn't disappoint.
"Really enjoyed this story"
Got to be one of the best narrated books I've listened to very very well read by Frances Sternhagen to a point made me search for other books narrated by her. Harvey UK
This is the perfect book to be an audio book. ..the narrator was excellent. ..as a Brit, I don't know if the regional accent is correct, but it sounded fab to me. Love the depth and richness of the characters. Dolores is my newest heroine
"A gripping story of a small town/island mother"
masterful tale of a hard working mother's love for her children and her life on a small island off the coast of North East America. King's insight of small town lifestyle is fantastic.
Really wasn't sure about this to begin with but soon realised I couldn't stop listening! Amazing narration really bought the whole thing to life
"Absolutely a great read!"
This is my favorite SK book. The story is amazing and the audiobook's actress brings Dolores to life! Not so much horror element as in so many Kings books, other than the horror some people show others in cruel and mean ways. I love it!
