Rayford Steele, his rag-tag team of flying rebels from around the globe, and his extended Tribulation Force would continue what Rayford called Operation Eagle. The Tribulation Force believed that Anti-christ and his minions were about to attack Israeli Christ-followers and that, when they fled, Rayford and his recruited fellow believers would serve as agents of rescue. Nicolae Carpathia, now the total embodiment of evil, desecrates the temple in Jerusalem by entering and declaring himself God. This explosive ninth book will carry the world to the brink of Armageddon.

Overall I like the series. This book however I had a hard time getting into and it felt like it just never really took off. Hopefully the next books are more engaging.
I'm a mature Christian who spends a lot of time in the Bible so my comments are based on that fact. This audiobook version of this title in the series was better than the last two. The foreign accents are overdone for some characters and don't sound accurate. Others characters are hard to differentiate because the voices sound the same. This book has some new African American and Latino (a first) characters at the end but I hope they don't end up being the typical "die fast" cliché. At least the first few were professional blacks. Overall, the content is good and Biblical. Worth the investment even with these flaws.
I have read and listen to all of the left behind series which is a set of 13 total but they were all worth it thanks to Jerry Jenkins , Tim LaHaye for your incredible insight and Audible for making listening fun
I loved this book ! Couldn't put it down a must read! If you have never read any of these books then you definitely must start with left behind narrated by Jack Sondericker!! What an amazingly talented man. The true gentleman that wrote the series I feel have captured revelation exactly how it is written. I wish that there were more books like this.
my first audio book actually.
Perfect title as it is.
I loved it been read to me. I'll consider the audio version of the next book in the series.
I have read every Left Behind book up to this one. I expected things to go in the same pattern as usual in this book but they didn't. I don't like horror movies and scary things, in fact I avoid them like the plague. This book was so troubling that I didn't finish reading it. If I hadn't have bought this book so long ago I would be demanding a refund. It got very dark very fast.
I don't think I will be continuing on with this series. I may go listen to the Narnia series.
Just be cautious when you start to listen to this book.
