It is 1925, and the war is long over. But much has been lost, and life will never be quite the same. Castle Deverill, cherished ancestral home to the Deverill family in the west of Ireland, has burned to the ground.
Young and flighty Celia Deverill is determined to restore the sad ruins to its former glory. But dark shadows are gathering once more as the financial markets start to shake, and everything that felt so certain is thrown once again into doubt....

Loved it and didn't want it to finish. It could have gone on for a few more chapters to tie up the loose ends.
I enjoyed listening to what happened to all the characters in the story and how it carried on from Songs Of Love and War.
There wasn't really one - I enjoyed it all!
I think it was the part where Martha went to Ireland after learning that she had been adopted.
Yes ! but of course that would have been impossible
I would have liked the story to have continued - it seemed to end suddenly. I do hope that there will be a continuation of the story - we must know what happened to all the characters. The narration was excellent with so many different accents.
Great continued story of the Deverill family enjoyed it very much sorry to get to the end can't wait for the next book as always Santa Momtefiore a wonderful story teller well narrated by Geneva eve Swallow
"Daughters of Castle Deverill part 2"
Fabulous story with lots of twists and turns. As in Part 1 and 2 the story finished abruptly so I am hoping there will be a part 3! I would so like to see how all the characters lives pan out.
Never a dull moment, wanted to keep listening
Genevieve Swallow read part 1 of Songs of Love and War about the O'Learys and Deverills which I enjoyed but part 2 has been even better. There are many characters in this part and Genevieve carried off the different voices well.
This audio has been one of the best books I have listened to!
