Newbery Medal-winning author Avi completes the Crispin saga with this third installment of the riveting trilogy. In 14th-century England, Crispin has embarked on one adventure after another since discovering that he, once known only as “Asta’s son,” has a much grander future than he ever could have imagined. Encountering such trustworthy souls as Bear during the course of his travels, Crispin teeters on the brink of fulfilling his destiny in this stunning tale of the Middle Ages.

ABSOLUTELY! The narration is fantastic and the story is wonderful. If you started with the first book in the Crispin series, you see his metamorphosis from scared nearly wild boy to young man with leadership abilities.
LOVE this book
When he runs from the soldiers and finds some ruins to sleep in for shelter and finds a grave and takes the clothes to keep warm. The moral back and forth in his own mind is interesting.
Crispin I suppose but Owen is very good too.
When Owen's monkey is killed and small timid Owen reacts. His love for the monkey was amazing. It was sad he died.
I hope there are more books in the Crispin series although now that he has sailed to Iceland....I am not sure what those would be. Still.....I listen to these books often because they are so fantastic and it would be nice to have a new one....(that was hint to Avi LOL)
I enjoyed the series of Crispin, the characters, the story... all great. But could have had better ending.
Great perfomance by Ron Keith!
Worth the listen, but the ending is average at best.
