Love all of the series from Yada Yada

This is another series that ended too soon. Many stories to still tell. I can’t get enough of all the series created from the very first Yada Yada series. I find my self reading all the spin-off just to find out what’s going on with the original group.

Enjoyable and thought provoking

What did you love best about Come to the Table?

I love this spinoff from Neta Jackson's Yada Yada Series. Her writing makes me think really hard about whether I'm fulfilling my calling. The characters are human, flawed, judgment and yet growing spiritually/emotionally with each step they take; which is so true of many us who call ourselves Christians.

What did you like best about this story?

I like that I could laugh, get angry, cry, find fault and celebrate with the characters. They come to life for me and during the time I'm reading they, temporarily, become my family and friends. I liked that Edessa, Josh, and Nick's characters were given voices in this book.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Jackie Schlicher?

Yes, I would listen to another book narrated by Jackie from another author, but for this series she's no Babara Rosenblat that's for sure. Where is she? I love her range of characters' voices in all her narrations. I missed Edessa's and Delores' spanish accents given during the Yada Yada series. :-\ Sorry Jackie, I'm a creature of habit.

Who was the most memorable character of Come to the Table and why?

The most memorable character for me was Edessa. In the Yada Yada series, I didn't really get to see/hear a less "saintly" side of her. This book allowed me to see her irriations and flaws, which is good because it allows the reader to get to know her better.

A the Souled Out books. I'm always sad when another one ends. Worth every minute.

I so enjoy listening to the Sold put Sisters books. I wish these characters went on forever.

LOVED IT!

This is the second book in the two book series. Kat and her friends find themselves maturing as Christians. I am sad to be finished with their story.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all the Windy City Series. This one is no exception. I only hope there is more to come!

Great read!

Never disappointed with Neta Jackson’s books. As usual if you hadn’t read the 1st book the storyline was covered in this one; of course , missing some of the best parts. Life as a Christian is not about seeking the glory ourselves. Spending time in prayer and bible study is so important. Also, having trusted people to pray for you and with you.

Great storyline

Loved the storyline. I've read quite a few of Neta Jackson's books and liked that I got some updates on her other characters. I like the fact that the characters are real. They mess up just like I do and God still has patience with them (me). I had to get used to the new narrator and the new voices of the characters but she did a good job. Loved this book.
