Publisher's summary

Reporter Holly Thorne is intrigued by Jim Ironheart, who has saved 12 lives in the past three months. Holly wants to know what kind of power drives him, why terrifying visions of a churning windmill haunt his dreams, and just what he means when he whispers in his sleep that an enemy who will kill everyone is coming.
"A master storyteller, sometimes humorous, sometimes shocking, but always riveting. His characters sparkle with life. And his fast-paced plots are wonderfully fiendish, taking unexpected twists and turns." ( The San Diego Union-Tribune)

Cold Fire- Dean Koontz

Good story and I liked that it swapped between narrators, however just felt maybe could have been slightly better presented somehow?

Excellent book very enlightened

I love how Koontz thinks when he writes. He writes about very uncommon things, or things that people pay no attention to. I feel that this really cool work of fictions has so many layers underneath, as always his characters are very exact and particular, I see the main female lead as being a black woman in a movie, I really
Wish they would make a good not cheesy movie about this book!

It’s a patio, not a potio!

The female narrator completely distracted from the story with the lip smacking pauses and strange pronunciation. I have never heard of a “potio”.

All in all, a great book

the man seemed a little old sounding for Jim but he is a goog narator. The woman is great.

Great book

I love Dean Koontz and he never fails to keep you on the edge of your seat. Readers were very good and provided a 2 person narrative.

Not Koontz's best

This was an OK listen. Not anywhere near what Knootz usually writes. The female narrator, who has recorded other Knootz books, was totally inappropriate for the character. She sounded OLD.

Cold Fire

Started out very well, but turned a bit too much like a romance novel for my taste. I will try another.
