I haven't read the entire series but I intend to. The author has such a sense of humor, which I really like. The book is full of action and romance. I would highly recommend the series. I like it much better than the Twilight series.

Loved it!
After reading the Twilight series, I have gone through many books trying to find something I liked as well. I started watching True Blood, not knowing that it was based on a book. The first book in the series was very much like the show, but the 2nd and 3rd take a different turn. I am so hooked on these books now. I am glad there are 9 books in this series, so far, because I am loving these books and can't wait to get to the 4th one!

my favorite so far.
I really enjoyed this one. I love the voice actress, she is has a believable accent. this is important, since I was born and raised in Louisiana. I also enjoy this series.

Again Just Plain Fun.
As always this series is just fun to listen too and keep you sucked in. I think its partly the narrator that keeps you sucked in, she does a fantastic job.

Enjoyable
If you are looking for deep reading you will need to go elsewhere. There's drama, intrigue, romance, and of course all the supernatural creatures you can imagine.
I wanted to listen to the next book as soon as I finished one. I like Charlaine Harris, and I like all the characters. It's interesting reading these after watching the True Blood shows. There have definitely been some changes in the show, the books are only from Sookie's viewpoint, so the show would have to be different to show the other people's view points. Well done.

Great Book, bad audio
Where does Club Dead rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I read this book and loved it, but the voice reading was too overdone, So much so that I couldn't listen to more than the first chapter.

Good book
It was a good listen. I had a hard time getting away from it. I listened to it on the way to and from work. I also listened to it around the house. Very very well read and written.

Loving the Sookie Stackhouse series!

Good listen
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I enjoy the humor in these books. I think Johanna Parker has the perfect voice for Sookie.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I wish there was less violence in these books, or at least less graphic violence.
