Underwhelmed

There I was thinking that this would be a great companion to world war Z. But alas it is not. The major story is not a zombie one but vampire. Another story seemed to end halfway through. Very strange. Please don't waste your money on this if you think you're going to have something of world war z quality.

Spare your ears. This will brain your damage.

Holy mother of God, this was TERRIBLE. And thats from a Brooks fan. Such a disappointing endeavor. Perhaps it would hve been better narrated by someone else- however the aurator is gifted with tone, pitch, differing accents and genders. His enunciation is very good, clear and crisp.
The subject matter is, in my opinion, a quick cash in between other projects. Budget your royalties better so not to so not to subject your loyal following to this brand of cow flop.

Would you consider the audio edition of Closure, Limited and Other Zombie Tales to be better than the print version?

Never read the print version.

What other book might you compare Closure, Limited and Other Zombie Tales to and why?

This book helps to ease the pain of finishing World War Z. It really gives you that little bit you need to keep going.

Which character – as performed by Christopher Ragland – was your favorite?

There is this Asian Female (Spoiler) Vampire who he does this great girly voice for. It's funny, but he still keeps you in the story.

If you could take any character from Closure, Limited and Other Zombie Tales out to dinner, who would it be and why?

The poor guy stuck in his bathroom.

Any additional comments?

This book was a great listen and just like World War Z brought to light some details of a zombie apocalypse you may not have ever thought of. I really hope Mr Brooks keeps on writing in the WWZ Universe.

probably just pass

1st story ought to have been reconsidered and not made it past any editor, if you get this book, just skip that story or agree with me afterwards.
2nd story ... "ok"
But the last two stories are decent and discernable effort was put into those.

Disappointed

WWZ is a masterpiece, this is only fair. Not read by the author. Too short for the price.

A patchwork of loose ideas and little more

I came to this fresh off the Zombie Survival Guide and the Unabridged World War Z, and I leave disappointed. The tales based around the Zombie War of the aforementioned title aren’t interesting enough to warrant a completely separate publication, and it is clear to see why they didn’t even make it into the extended release. The vampire story is wildly out of place as well, bookended as it is by stories steeped in realism.

This title is a definite skip, and if the author wishes to expand his possibilities and explore the supernatural or other such concepts, he should really close the book on the world of World War Z and make a new one.

A fun extension of WWZ

Two WWZ interviews, a sad short story, and a surprisingly-engrossing vampire/zombie crossover that thematically (if not lore-wise) meshes well with WWZ.

wish there was more

Going into this book I was already a fan of Max Brooks and world war z, my only complaint was that it wasn't longer.
