I cant explain how much i loved the book, the story was very well written, and the cast was excellent. I wish that the other 2 books following were on audio cd, because i would have definitly purchased those, but i have read book 4 and 5 and wasnt disappointed!!!
I highly recommend Ms robys' books
Kimberla Lawson Roby explores the lives of the church leaders who struggle with their emotions and reactions and the impact of their choices on those closest to them (family and church members). She shows the reader the differences between those who stand in scripture, and those who live as hypocrites, and how what is in the dark finally comes to light. The author vividly paints the emotions of each character who is casting the first stone. A very good and interesting read.
My niece recommended I listen to this book, and I usually listen to murder, mystery, etc. This book kept me listening for hours at a time and I was surprised by the beginning, middle and end! The ending was superb because it opens your eyes to one's own spirituality and relationship with God, family and friends. This book is definitely a must read/listen regardless of what genre you prefer to listen to...it will keep you on your toes at all times. GREAT BOOK!
I was disappointed in a protagonist that didn't pray or read the word during her ordeal. It was realistic, I know this happened, but prayer would have given her the support and insight she lacked
I loved this book. It was well written and the narrator did a great job!!!! There were days were I was ready to get off work just to continue listening to this book.
The story was predictable, there was not one surprise in the plot.
nice, good pronunciation,good expression
Easy read and a wonderfull twist at the end. I listened to this book twice and was able to enjoy it a second time around!
I thought the kick off to the Curtis Black series laid the foundation of the type of person in is. I enjoyed listening to it and thought the narrator did a great job distinguishing voices. I would recommend this to others to enjoy.
