Publisher's summary

Rumors of the seemingly magical victory that allowed the Exodus of Israelites from Egypt have resonated through the archaeological world for decades. Now evidence has been discovered that explains how the ancient Hebrews destroyed the unstoppable army of Pharaoh - a tribe of warriors who disappeared after the destruction of the City of Jericho, taking with them the most valued treasures of a people without a homeland. Today a treasure of a different kind is unearthed at the lost ruins of Jericho, one that will change the history of God’s Chosen people for all time - the petrified remains of an animal that could not exist. Enter the Event Group. Led by Col. Jack Collins, the Group's brilliant men and women gather to discover the truth behind not only the Exodus, but also the magnificent animals that led the defeat of Pharoah’s army. On a whirlwind race to save the most valuable treasure and artifacts in the history of the world from those who would destroy them, the Event Group will come face to face with every myth, legend, and historical truth that has ever unfolded in the mythic and larger-than-life Carpathians - or as the area was once known - Transylvania, the land of Vlad the Impaler.

what goes up must come down

As usual, this next book in the series didn't disappoint with the many twists and turns in the plot. I also enjoyed the irony of the ending, and the hook for the next book. Really didn't want to put it down when I started listening.

Really good one in this series!

Ok, I didn’t like the last book in this series, but this one makes up for it big time! I think I enjoyed this one the most so far. Hope the rest of the series is as good!

A great take on a biblical story that still remains shadowed in mystery till this day

A great story that combines enjoyable historical fiction with modern politics and espionage! This book was very entertaining! For a subject that can be interpreted by many different historical figures the author did a great job putting his twist on it!

Good story

Decent story, but some minor in consistencies. More story about the wolves but enjoyable nonetheless

Big bad wolf ate all 3 pigs!

Golemon has become a better writer with every book. I enjoy how he incorporates history and fiction for a harmonious theme. His characters have grown to become extremely in depth and personality. His plots flow well. His characters don't break their true callings even in the face of death. He never abandons his characters depths.
I labeled his books as good in earlier parts of the series but he has become a prime writer in my search for books.

Did Not Disappoint!

Addicted to the Event Series I was not disappointed with this book. I didn't give it 5 stars, I thought it was a little drawn out. Action, adventure, mystery and history all in one book, what more could you want.

How does the author do it?

The books in the series just keep getting better. The right mix of history, fiction and character development makes the reader want for more...just like an addict. If you are new to the series be sure you start with the first book and follow in the sequence. Wonderfully narrated too. What a team!

I enjoyed it very much. A real page turner.

A lot of characters to keep up with though. And although it would be impossible to film this story, I need a visual on the nail biting rescue and escape of the crumbling structure, the storm, the flood and the cars. How they didn't drown. A keeper.

Werewolves Exist! Kinda.

Like most event group books, the "real story" is a bit different than the legends. What a werewolf really is can be explained through creature design rather than supernatural transformation. And this leads to the only real contention of the books that I've had. When the Event Group starts investigating the Werewolves they give a pretty solid explanation without resorting to transformation. However, when asking who believes in Werewolves and the possibility of announcing an Event, they go straight to the transformation part of the story and how that is impossible. They literally just gave an explanation of how the Legend could have started without the transformation. Five seconds ago. Aside from that it was a good story and the ending which leads to the next book was great and I can't wait to get the next one.

Great as always

But I have to say it took so much longer getting to the revealing part of the mysteries and climax than usual. While answering all questions and such, it felt really delayed.
