Publisher's Summary

Never underestimate a misfit.... All Enzo aka Shawn Banks, and Bianca "Angel" Smith wanted to do was leave the evidence of their old life behind them, but the past always has a way of coming back to haunt you. When International King Pin, Damien Orlando, was taken down, the streets of Atlanta thought DOA's reign of terror was over, but sometimes even tied up ends can unravel. Step into the underworld of the NFL, where E.N.G.A takes on a whole new meaning, especially for Angel and Enzo. Neither one of them will be prepared for what happens when murder and mayhem takes to the streets of the ATL once again and pulls them in head first. Player steps back into the E.N.G.A world where both Enzo and Angel will see how far some will go to further their agenda.

    "Another Home Run...Loved it!"
Would you listen to Carl Weber Presents: Hood Misfits, Volume 3 again? Why?

Actually, I'd like to go back and listen to ALL three books in succession because once you listen to a book and then time passes, you forget certain details about the characters. Therefore, if you listen to the books right after the other, you can really get a better feel for all three books as they flow from one to the other.

In this book, there were characters that were casually mentioned in the previous two books and it would be nice to go back to review the books. And there are so many details that can easily escape your notice. Therefore, it would be good to go back and listen again.

What did you like best about this story?

The comradership and how the misfits never cease to come to the aid of their fellow group. I loved how they identified how the African Queen and her group came about. Also, I like how the writers continue to bring in pieces of knowledge to further build on the previous books helping you to appreciate the characters and providing more in depth information about the people in the story line.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

These narrators are new for me with exception of Jules Williamson. So, it took some getting used to. In fact, after listening to the two previous misfits books, with the voice of James Edward Shippy and Paula Parker, I must say I was a bit disappointed with the female narrators in this book because I felt that they were a bit too bland and their performances were a bit weak. However, as usual Jules Williamson did a phenomenal job. Mainly, I felt that the female narrators voices did not have enough presence.

Who was the most memorable character of Carl Weber Presents: Hood Misfits, Volume 3 and why?

Enzo, because he was the main character that I followed and was interested in knowing how he would react to the various incidents unfolding in the book.

    Any additional comments?

I was surprised that the writers were able to complete a third book in this series and keep it interesting. No, actually, I should not have to say that because after all, it is a Carl Weber production. Sometimes books can't pull it off and continue delivering good content. I must admit that this book really put the icing on the cake to a lot of the things going on in the previous books as to the origin of the African Queen. I was most intrigued as to how things actually got started. As the book continued to unfold, I kept saying to myself "the writer's are most creative in the way they are bringing this information to the forefront" and I was definitely applauding another great story line.

    Excellent job folks!

I was disappointed in the story line... Would have liked to hear more from Trigger and Ray Ray..., but introducing the new characters will hopefully make 5 a juicy story.

    Story
"What happened to the rest of the story? "

I can definitely understand the need for a cliffhanger at the end of a book, but this was not the case. The book's ending could not be a described as such. There were far too many unresolved issues with the characters to successfully complete the story line, even if another book of the series is to be added. I was actually thinking that somehow I skipped a chapter and that was the reason for my confusion. The conclusion felt more like it should be the middle. This book ended so poorly I am not looking forward to the next book in the series. The only satisfaction I gained in the ENTIRE book was the revelation of the history of the African Queens and everyone's familial relationships.

"One of the best books I have ever read."

I absolutely love this book. One of the best books I have ever read, in fact its only competition is Hood Misfits volume 1,2, and 4. The whole series is amazing. It draws you in and keeps you engaged from the very first page. I have literally read this whole series at least 25 times. I have hopes that Brick and storm will keep this series alive by doing part 5 and after have a big explosive finally in part 6 where all of the main charters from Hood Misfits 1-4, Eraser Heads, and Orlando series are together in one book and everyone just bang it out. I am truly a fan of Brick and Storm and own all of their books and always stalking amazon waiting for the next one to come out. Love your work
