Cane Hutchinson took one look at heiress Alexandra Duke and knew she'd be big trouble. He was an ex-Marine whose expertise as a bodyguard had him working with high-risk clients all over the world. Babysitting a billionaire's princess was the last thing he wanted to be doing...
The last thing Alexandra wanted - or needed, was a bodyguard. But her father had worries for her safety after winning an important contract against an unscrupulous business rival. Being stuck with Cane 24/7 was bad enough; now she had to contend with an uncontrollable attraction for her handsome and virile bodyguard who looked like he belonged on the cover of GQ magazine. She was used to keeping people at a distance because of the fortune her father represented - but for how long could she keep her rising feelings for Cane at bay?

! Love to listen to jazz, r/b and listen to erotic or a good paranormal sci-fi and " good narration is everything"
The narrator is so damn bad, if the story was good. I have never heard anyone as horrible as this person!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this must be a horrible joke.ONE STAR IS WAY TOO MUCH
I really enjoy the world of books! Narration just add layers to that world... don't u think? :)
I didn't even finish this because the narration is just sooo bad... What happen to Pepper... Dez Burke writes very good and quick erotic stories and I sure this one was no exception...but I just can't finish this with this narration..
Narrator's performance not vey good almost robotic. Very choppy. No flow with the words with an elementary in delivery. It took away from the story.
Don't buy. Save your credit or money.
Avid reader/listener of all things, though not so avid about science fiction. The books I could not get through are very few!
I am a Dez Burke fan, but this "audio" book is a lost cause. I read the book and enjoyed it. I didn't get through chapter two of the audio version and I am not going to try again. My 10 year old granddaughter would do better; at least she loves to read. PLEASE Dez, keep Liz Levine away from your audio books.
