McCaig rivals authors of the level of James Michener in his ability “flesh out” his historical novels. McCaig tells the stories of the lives of many Americans between 1865 and 1876 . . . Black, White, Native Americans as they struggle to find their places in the America that was left us after the Civil War. We’ll worth reading!!!!
