I listened to this a few days ago, so I can't remember details about why I fell in love with this story all over again. I read this a while ago. But it was awesome! The feeling of betrayal, some action, so much love, a beautiful unconventional family, Jory and his quirkiness, Sam and his sexiness, and a fabulous plot, all the making for an awesome story. Which this was.
And I fall in love with 💖Finn Sterling's💖 narrative performance a little bit more every time I hear his voice! I'll sooooooo be listening to this again.

Great story; great narration
As usual a great story. After “Bulletproof” this story was much more enjoyable because the narrator was able to bring the characters to life and slip seamlessly in and out of each character.

Really great!
This author is one of my favorites. I have followed these 2 characters since the first book and I have listened to their ups and downs many times over by the years. As I have become older I have enjoyed them more, and appreciated them more. I HIGHLY recommend!!

Good book But....
The book was great.. but the narration totally ruined it for me...The voice was just off and flat...It's too bad because the book was good it tied everything up and was a good final chapter in the series
The narration just put me off ..I recommend just buying the ebook that way there won't be any disappointment

Great story. Great narration.
I enjoy this whole series. Mary Calmes turns the seemingly quiet life of a househusband into a non stop adventure, but it's the actual quiet moments that are a special treat.

Cute, sweet, domestic, 3.5 stars rounding up
I think this is the only narration I've ever listened to from Finn Sterling. He did a good job with a variety of voices and I especially loved his Sam, but I'm taking exception with his voice for Jory since he gave a feminine adaptation that Jory never ever had. As for the story, truth be told, apart from some minor drama produced by someone appearing from Sam's past when he was in Colombia and an incident in Kola's school, nothing really happens. Finishing the audiobook I can't point to a scene that evoked strong feelings. So cute, sweet, domestic Sam and Jory with kids.
