“Carr has hit her stride with this captivating series.” (Library Journal)
i cannot rate this book alone but have to say that the entire series has all ingredients for a wonderful listen good story, some issues to overcome and an uplifting ending
fit in with the series but was a good story to itself
the town Christmas tree
yes and I did with the help of my mp3 player
I have not come to the end of the series available in audio and cannot wait for the next one
As part of the series, and after a period. Yes
It was a nice extended family and friends story.
A chance to listen to the story, and a voice that was easy to listen to.
These are always easy listening. Robyn Carr delivers another enjoyable story about the crew from Virgin River. The characters seem like old friends. Virgin River would be an ideal place to live - must be why the stories are comfortable reads.
Once again Robyn Carr has outdone herself. Just in time for Christmas
Jack is my favorite character, he just pulls everyone together into one big family.
When reading any of Robyn Carr's books you feel like you are right there while the story is taking place.
If you love Robyn Carr's writing you will love this book also. I have read everyone in the Virgin River series but it grows weary for me. Just too predicable. T. Plummer is great as always. Love her as a narrator.
A great addition to the Virgin River series.
Characters new and old are typical of Carr's capacity for character developmen.
A sound performance with good representation across the character spectrum.
did not read the printed version
Becca strong willed sliding down the snowy stairs
Becca would be my favorite character
Mel has a great personnality in the book
I have listened to the entire series and I love the way Robyn Carr brings in old characters and that the narrator is always the same. Therese Plummer is excellent and you can always tell who is talking by the reflections in her voice
The Sherryle Woods Chesapeake Shores Series
I love to listen to books narrated by Therese Plummer. She is an excellent reader and her voices are so real and always depicts the characters she is portraying. You know who is taling by the tone of her voice.
Anyone looking for a great series, funny, sad, sexy, etc., the Virgin River series should be put at the top of your list.
I would recommend this because it lets you escape to a slower pace and just enjoy the feeling of a small community with everyone supporting everyone, and becoming a part of that community.
I loved when Beca stepped in to help the kids with their homework, and was able to figure out why the one little girl was doing so poor, and felt like she was stupid.
Denny and Beca both because they were so busy trying not to fall in love all over again, they didn't see that they had never stopped being in love.
The characters were unexciting and rather juvenile. I have never like the 'Denny' character, so I guess this isn't surprising. Becca was hard to like. The narrator was great as usual.
Not Robyn Carr
Therese Plummer brings her usual great emotion and character representation.
Denny and Beccan
