This was a simple book, easy to listen to and follow along. It is in the same category as The Alchemist, in terms of content, so if you liked The Alchemist, you'll probably appreciate this book. I would recommend for fans of this author.
I loved this book and found myself randomly stopping the narration to contemplate the ideologies and spiritual concepts presented therein. This is a lovely story that encourages us to view the world with a different set of eyes and openness to the less obvious aspects of our existence in the universe. If you are a Paulo Coelho fan, you don't want to miss this one.

I did not enjoy this book in fact I had a hard time finishing it. The characters left me cold and the story line was ragged. I felt the author was trying to combine a philosophy with a novel and neither clearly presented, It just never worked for me.
The book feels designed specifically for the main character to find a soulmate and the rest is dressing on top of that. I cannot get past chapter 3.
Being a fan of the Alchemist, I was eager to enjoy Brida. The narration is well done. Unfortunately, there are music "bumpers" or transitions at the end and beginning of chapters that are mixed too "hot" and distract from the narration of the story. Would be nice if the publisher fixed and rerelease this title to owners.
