Determined to find meaning in her grief, Jamie pours her life into volunteer work at St. Paul's, the small memorial chapel across from where the Twin Towers once stood. In the stream of broken, grieving people who make their way through the church doors, Jamie connects with two men, a firefighter forever changed by the attacks, and a Los Angeles police officer.
Unsure and feeling somehow guilty, Jamie opens herself to the possibility of loving again. But a shocking revelation sends her reeling. How can this be the plan for her life?
Now only the persistence of a tenacious caring man, questions from Jamie's curious daughter, and words from Jake's treasured journal can move Jamie Byran beyond one Tuesday morning toward life.
Don't miss Karen Kingsbury's One Tuesday Morning.

A must-listen sequel to "One Tuesday Morning". The trials and tribulations of a woman trying live a Christian life who found her faith in God after her husband's death in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Many lessons can be learned from listening to this book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to more Christian fiction.
An excellent sequel to "One Tuesday Morning", Karen Kingsbury shows how one's personal faith in Christ can overcome even the most dire events that life can throw your way. I wouldn't have expected anything less from the author. Rather than living in the past and constantly dwelling on the personal loss from the fall of the Twin Towers, Jamie relies on her faith to go forward with her life. While her personal loss will always be a part of her, her faith carries her into the future. A truly inspiring novel about how faith and love can overcome tragedy and loss.
It's obvious from the other reviews that people are disappointed with Karen's books because of the "religious" tone so as long as you understand that's what you are getting, this book is EXCELLENT. I don't usually read fiction but couldn't put this one (and One Tuesday Morning) down until I was finshed. I am a Christian woman and love that there is a fiction book out there with so much Christian emphasis. This book actually helped me with my faith issues and helped me with my view of God. Actually changed it a little. So I highly recommend this book as long as you understand exactly what you are getting.
I own a small shop selling custom/costume Jewelry. I love to listen to audio books while I create jewelry. I love all animals and get very upset when they aren't treated well, even in fiction.
Yes I would listen to this book again because I enjoyed it so much it was a really very special love story
I didn't want it to end ! I kept rewinding it listening to bits over and over again so that it would last longer. I was really sad to see it end.
I've listened to other titles by Karen Kingsbury this is by so far my favorite I actually didn't like some of the others so this one was something special
I definitely liked Tuesday Morning better than Beyond Tuesday Morning, but I really enjoyed hearing the follow up about Jamie and Clay. The only reason I gave the performance 3 stars was because it was obnoxious to me that when people were praying or talking in their heads, it was as if they were in a tunnel talking. Aside from that, I enjoyed it.
The story was amazing, with the power to show the importance of moving on. Reminds me of a Petra song "You can't go forward if you keep looking back!" Thank you for the story, and the narrator was great.

Another winner by Karen Kingsbury. Excellent story of loss, healing, and finding new love in the aftermath of 9 11. Wonderful narration,
I found the story to be good, however, I almost didn't want to continue listening to it because the narration was so annoying. Some of the narrators had weird mouth noises and it sounded like you could hear their stomachs growling or something. I found that to be extremely distracting. But again, it was a good story.
