Claire Cavenaugh has fallen in love for the first time in her life. As her wedding day approaches, she prepares to face her harsh, judgmental older sister. It is the first time they have been together in more than two decades. Over the course of a hot Pacific Northwest summer, these two women who believe they have nothing in common will try to become what they never were: a family.
Tender, funny, bittersweet, and wonderfully moving, Between Sisters celebrates the joys and heartaches that can be shared only by sisters, the mistakes made in the name of love, and the healing power of new beginnings - all beautifully told by acclaimed author Kristin Hannah.

This is beautiful story. Although the plot was fairly predictable the characters were real and there was nothing boring about this book. Read with feeling and thoroughly enjoyable.
A little less man bashing and not so repetitive.
So so predictable. Almost from the start you could see how it was going to end.
Very repetitive, could have cut out half the book and still know where it was going.
No the reader was awful. Had problem remembering the voice assigned to each character
Anybody else would have been better. Hannah should of used some else.
I loved this book as much as I have loved all of Kristin Hannah's books I've read so far, but the narration left something to be desired.
Book was a good listen, but it had me in tears a number of times. Hannah did a good job of evoking the complicated emotions that arise in troubled families. I really enjoyed it.
Once again Kristin Hannah has written another wonderful book, but if only the bad language wasn't in there. I wasn't expecting this book to take the turn that it did, but I am glad the sisters came back together.
