Will Northland's brother, Tristan, went to America to break a centuries-old curse and found love in the most unexpected of places: within the heart of a werewolf. When Will goes to visit, he meets not only Tristan's mate, Benjamin, but their friend Raul, who receives a plea for help from his old werepack: his twin brother, Richard, has gone missing and is possibly under the influence of a witch.
Raul leaves to find his brother, and Will goes with him, offering to use his magic to both locate Richard and protect them all from the threat of dark magic. But when they find him, a totally unexpected passion explodes between Richard and Will, stunning them both. Suddenly, discovering who betrayed Raul and Richard isn't the only challenge. It's now a struggle to solve the mystery so Will can claim Richard's heart just as the wolf has claimed Will as his mate.

I'm 45 yrs old. I love reading/listening to books and work at a University library, unfortunately we don't read all day.
It's really other worldly yet sexy. It has these great gothic aura in dreams and fantasy and it's amazingly romantic.
Will is may favourite character, he is loving and caring but we also know that he has power all of his own.
I also love Alex the Alpha of Benjamin's pack, I don't think that Rhianne has written Alex's story, although we have glimpses of the events that occured, but I'd love to find a full novel of Alex and Raul.
Jack did so well, I actually enjoyed Will, Raul, Richard, Tristan and Alex. It's hard to choose which character was the better.
Oh yes, you can't stop listening. I listened and then listened again. Terrific.
Loved it! I have Cursed now, too!
I'm over 50, a Female Interstate Truck Driver - I couldn't imagine driving thousands of kilometres without my Audiobooks from Audible!!
Having never read the print version, I nonetheless wholeheartedly recommend this audio book. Whatever voices, sensuality, sensitivity, etc you would assign the characters if you settled down to read the paper version of the book, Cannot....will not compare with Jack Strong!
I'm not male, not gay, and honestly downloaded this book in error. But, I really enjoyed it! Yes, it's almost porn, but fast paced storyline interlaced with lots of HOT gay sex, werewolves, magic, etc.....I will definitely follow this author AND narrator. Will was my favorite.
Well, I found the narrator awesome. I cannot agree at all with some of the reviews here. I thought his style was interesting, he projected sensuality, and I had absolutely no problem staying awake while listening to his voice. I will follow him and look forward to being entertained by him again.
AN EROTIC WEREWOLF FANTASY TALE, WHERE GAY SENSUALITY IS JOYFULLY EMBRACED.
Betrayed picks up where Cursed (the first installment in this series) leaves off. The relationship between Tristian Northland and Ben Sterling is in full bloom. Tristian's twin brother Will had traveled across the ocean to help save his brother's warewolf partner and is now feeling like the third wheel. Why can't he find the love his brother has? Will it ever happen to him?
The answer is soon realized when the local ware-pack gets notice that Raul's (the alpha's consort) has gone missing. Will has a gut feeling that the search for Richard is part of his lifes path. Richard is quickly found in the county jail with no memories of who and what he is. The connection is instant. Will knows this was meant to be.
Will quickly realizes that Richard is under the spell of an evil witch and is ready and willing to fight for the one he wants!
The emotions run high in this book. Love to hate, hate to betrayal, but will Tristian find the love he so desires?
definatly the story and the flow of it.
i liked the feeling of not suspence but something close to it. it kept you listening for what would happen next.
no, i likend him a little better then the narrator of "cursed".
it made me laugh and it also made me want to jump into the book and smack some of the characters but i cant tell you why or id ruin it.
i loved this book but i read it first before listening to it and so i can't tell you how i reacted to being read this story due to me knowing what happens. lol if you liked the Cursed you will love this book maybe even more.
this story is about will and his wolf.
Really enjoyed the work of Rhianne Aile, however, the recording was horrible. The narrator was ok but the timing between reading in spots where no lapse should be was annoying and detracted from the story. Worse recording I have heard.
A nice change of pace ad story line..
Loved all the characters in this story and the narrator did well with defining each characters voices.
The story line kept you wanting to here more and so glad there was a sequel to this book , it answers a lot of questions this book left unanswered..
All in all great start to series worth credit or buy.
This should be listened to after the book "Cursed". It was officially released before the other book but picks up after the other one.
Will and Richard are our main characters in this book They both have twin brothers, one set of twins Will and Tristan are witches and Richard and Raul are were wolfs. Tristan's mate is Benjamin their story is covered in "Cursed" and Raul is mated to Alex who's full story has not been told but they are part of these two books.
Raul takes Will with him to help uncover what has happened to his brother Richard. As it seems there is a witch who may be tampering with Richard. Will is a joy on this adventure and tries to reason with himself about his reaction to Richard and how strong the bond is, especially with Richards wolf.
This author does a good job with the close family relationships as well as the mates. The narrator who I have heard do a wonderful job on other projects, rips the heck out of this one. I was stunned at his lack of delivery.
You will experience HOT and detailed sex by all our mated couples in this book. Where you see the difference of the couples who are both were wolfs And by those whose mates are not. So try and keep your mouths closed in public!!
Rhine aile, yes, jack strong no. I forgot he did the first one and I cannot understand why he is a narrator. I could have just used auto read on my kindle. He reads too fast and does not even characterize. He sounds like he has a cold and keeps taking nasally breaths at the wrong places in the book.
The prince and his boy. Magical adventure to thwart evil.
No, absolutely not
I ended up buying the kindle book and read it. Loved the story.
The story is extremely hard to follow, the narrator stilted and inexpressive and the sex scenes are too numerous to be exciting. The story meanders around the characters with only one point in mind: setting up the next sex scene. I rarely stop an audio book, but this one was an exception. I should have been more wary after the creepy opening sex scene between a man and a changing werewolf that skirts the edge of bestiality! After two hours, I am done. Perhaps I simply want more romance in my gay romances and not just sex!
