I love this whole series, and I think this book is my favorite!!!!!! I will definitely reread it and can't wait for the next book.

My new favorite romance novel. Seriously.

I have read thousands of romance novels - I mean a lot! And this book is my new favorite. I liked it so much that as soon as I finished the first listen, I turned around and started the book over to listen a second time. The plot itself is not unique or much different from other romance novels, rather it's the dialog. I was outright laughing and chuckling at times. Plus, the author didn't dumb-down the story. Both main characters are smart and educated with masters degrees - and the dialog and writing reflect this. The sex scenes are spectacular and each encounter is different! But what made this listen so incredible were the narrators. They took the words and brought the characters to life. Hands down the best listen ever. I loved it. I hope you do too.

My favorite of the series!

What did you love best about Beautiful Player?

Towards the end of Beautiful Stranger and throughout Beautiful Bombshell, it was clear that Will was going to be the next guy with a story. I had low expectations for this book, even though I really enjoyed the whole series so far. I loved it. I really liked the relationship development between Will and Hanna. Like the other books, this one was funny. In my opinion it was the funniest. I usually listen while on the train to work....I sure got some strange looks when I would let a little chuckle slip because I could hold in my laugh. I want to read more about Will and Hanna, or really just Will. I would really like to read/listen to a Max/Will backstorey.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Will, he just seems so deliciously dreamy!

What about Grace Grant and Sebastian York ’s performance did you like?

I like Grace, like the other books. I finally liked Sebastian's voice in this one. He seems fitting as Will, I didn't care so much for his voice for Bennet

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

the male narrator makes the sexy real.

both narrators were believable. the sex scenes were hot. I love Hannah and Will was a mix of virile ladies man and protector. loved It more than other two books in the series.

More please

Read over and over and need more. Christina lauren is so fantastic, I can't get enough of these books. Sexy, funny, tender, with such original sex scenes and just the right amount of angst. Perfection.

This book was the best in the series so far! Looking forward to reading the rest :-)

Racy Romp

Would you consider the audio edition of Beautiful Player to be better than the print version?

If you don't mind male power biased sexism and domination as usual, it is entertaining. The voice of Sebastian York....Wow, certainly kept me listening! The voice acting was perfectly cast for this audio book. The male protagonist was in the "drivers seat" throughout the story.

If you’ve listened to books by Christina Lauren before, how does this one compare?

Unless style and skew was radically different than this book, it is unlikely that I would choose another Christina Lauren book.

Will & Hannah Best of the Series! Give us More

I have really liked this series. That said, I have other series I have liked more. That was until I stopped focusing totally on Bennet and Chloe. Beautiful Player was left off my list because I didn't know if it would pay to step away from focusing on Bennet and Chloe (Did I like the series enough to pay for this one??). I was wrong. After I finally listened to Beautiful Stranger (Max and Sara) , I realized I needed to Listen to Will's story on this one. Both Stranger and Player go into Depth in their characters - I love the his and hers versions and the accents by the way on these narrations as well - this is one of the cases where the narration surpasses the written book. Perhaps it's the evolution of the series in my mind, but I prefer to think it's the evolution of the writing (getting better and better) and the redeeming qualities of the characters in this story that puts it on top. Yes Will is a man whore - but he redeems himself in my eyes - and the bigger they are, the harder they fall - Love this book, give me some more! This is by FAR the best of the series, and next best is Beautiful Stranger - Bennet and Chloe need more personalization - don't get me wrong, love them, but what they're feeling is never as clear as it is with Will and Hannah - I look forward to your continued growth in writing!

A super sexy humorous treasure

O. M.Stars. I love, love, loved this book. If the male narrator doesn't do it for you, you probably don't like chocolate either. His voice is pure sin. This is one of the rare few I will listen to MANY times. If you like sexy, you'll love this story.
