Very good read; hard to put down

This author proves once again that she can write and tell a story! This book is a very good read, and anyone following the Curtis Black family will marvel at his redemption in the faith community, and how his daughter Alisha marries someone just like her father! Overall, an enjoyable read. At times, I found it hard to put this book down!. Definitely worth the read!

Predictably Funny

The story was a familiar one, yet it is still funny and worth the read.

Be careful what you pray for

So many lessons to learn. Alicia evolves. The Black is a mess and addictive.

It was inevitable!!!

It was inevitable that Alicia had a bad marriage she adored her father and he was the epitome of being a screw up when it comes to relationships. Also as a child you absorb your atmosphere good and bad. So it was only natural for Alicia to be attracted to a man exactly like her father.

This on was better than the last one...

Happy to say that this story about Alisha gave me the dose of scandalous drama I’ve come to expect (and need) from the Curtis Black series. The last book about Alisha wasn’t as exciting; however this one was better. On to the next read :)

Kimberly Lawson Roby has done it again!

I enjoyed this Christian fiction book, and I also like books by the author, Kimberly Lawson Roby. She tells a story in such a way that she keeps the reader’s attention. I would recommend the book to others who enjoy Christian fiction; however, I must admit that the narrator often hesitated for what seemed like an excessive period of time.
