Three haters. Two lovers. And a collision course with tragedy.
That October night, Donald and Mark had no idea their lives and love were about to be shattered by 'fag bashers,' intent on pain, and armed with ridicule, fists, and an aluminum baseball bat. Bashed charts the course of a journey that encompasses suspense, horror, and, ultimately, romance.

Yes, The audio version is well narrated and the separation between the characters through acting manages to make the story easier to understand and more enjoyable.
Ronnie, My favorite character but not the one I liked most. I thought the narrator managed to get across his sheer nastiness.
He manages to make reading the book slower and more enjoyable.
When someone gets bashed, everyone gets hurt.
A really well told story which shows how violence affects everybody involved - including the perpetrators. I have never come across a book which so thoroughly describes the point of view of the aggressor without making them sound like the victim. That`s not to say that the victims point of view is neglected with even ghostly apparitions/delusions forming part of the tale. The story also touches on how our lives connect and getting over the death of a loved one. My only criticism is the tag line -I'm not sure that I would describe it as "A love story" but that is only a minor point. In short I would recommend the book to anyone.
