Shannon Holmes, the bestselling author of B-More Careful, delivers a wild adventure on the streets of the Badlands, one of the toughest and poorest communities in Philadelphia.
Bad Girlz takes listeners into the mysterious and often dangerous lives of young women who turn to the streets and strip clubs as a means of survival. These are girls who, along the way, suffer bad breaks and find themselves ripe for exploitation by men and women who pretend to be their saviors.
Tender and Goldie are taken under wing by Kat, a veteran stripper who enjoys the life and the risks she must take to stay in the mix of the sex trade. Both of these young and beautiful girls end up in dire straits and are in need of Kat's help for the same reasons: They lack the love and support that most of us expect from our homes and our communities. Where they live, illegal money is often the only money to be made, and the difference between the law and the outlaw is tough to discern.
Holmes tells a pause-resisting story of sex, money, and murder in the name of survival and reveals the many ways in which good girls - as they try to get by in desperate situations - become Bad Girlz.

I'M NOT PERFECT BUT I AM A LIMITED ADDITION!
I hated Cat character , however it's crazy cause that's how some women are they jealous hearted and can't stand to be out done by anyone. Sad that we as women can't help each other with out scandal in our hearts .
Ready for book 2
OMG how did this get published this way she is a horrible narrator and she was mispronouncing words she really was calling one of the strippers Lucius and I know the name was lucious SMH only because I spent my hard-earned credits on this I fought through it.
I would not recommend this book to other people very very weak and predictable so do not waste your time reading this book
If the narrator could read I would I have throughly enjoyed the book. Kat was an awful person! Poor Tender was young, sweet and oh so naive. Goldie was a cursed soul. Great job Shannon Holmes I love your work!
It seems as if this is the first time the narrator performed and it seemed as if she was either getting tired and her sentences seemed as if there were run-on's. They should have taken more breaks or read the book a few times before executing this task. You can tell she is an amateur.
