Story
Uncle Fred, or to give him his full title of Frederick Altamont Cornwallis Twistleton, fifth Earl of Ickenham, is considered by some as a splendid gentleman - a sportsman to his fingertips. Mr. Twistleton, nephew to the Earl, and otherwise known as Pongo to his friends, has a differing view. He simply describes his uncle as being loopy to the tonsils. But when the eccentric and well-loved Uncle Fred plays Cupid to Lord Emsworth, his old friend at Blandings Castle, little did he know that he would be known as Impostor A and the Lord’s beloved pig, the Empress, as Impostor B....

One Cannot Go Wrong with Jeeves and Wooster
P. G. Wodehouse never fails to put a smile on my face and a song in my heart. Lighthearted banter and high-jinks abound with the English leisure class.

Laugh out Loud!
Light and funny. I remember reading the regular book version which was published in the U.S. as "Cat Nappers" and the audio version is just as good. Jonathan Cecil is an excellent narrator of light comedies; perfect for this and other P.G. Wodehouse works.

Pure Wodehouse
Its a good book, but very Wodehouse in that it repeats the same sort of stories as a lot of the other books. Nevertheless it's very funny and takes you back to the fairy tale England of Wodehouse.

Wodehouse: Good to the Very End
It is pleasant to discover that Wodehouse's power to entertain held up to the end. This recording of the very last novel he finished, Aunts Aren't Gentlemen, is delightful. Jeeves and Bertie are the same as ever even if the world of the 1970's, with its protest marches and its muggings, does intrude on their timeless England now and then. All the characters, old and new, are delightfully brought to life in this reading. They may be two-dimensional, but they are still hilarious
