Having first been introduced to Anne of Green Gables by the TV series starring Megan Follows, I was very excited to listen to this version of the book. While Megan Follows does a good job narrating the story, this version is very poorly abridged and produced. This was a real disappointment and I strongly recommend avoiding this version. I gave it one star because Audible requires at least one but I would say that this one deserves zero stars.
way too fast! I downlaoded this so my girls could enjoy the story while on the way to Tahoe. The narrator talked so fast, it was not enjoyable. We gave up.
Yes I would. Anne of Green Gables has always been a favorite of mine growing up and even now as an adult. I love the fact this story is narrated by one of my favorite actresses also Megan Follows. As soon as I found it I purchased it.
Anne Shirley herself. I love how full of life and imagination she is. She's caring and an inspiration to me also.
I believe the title is perfect.
I want to thank Audible for having this available. Books are a essential thing, but I like having them in audio form as well since I'm disabled and its hard to carry around or hold a book for long. The iOS app of Audible allows me to listen anytime I wish, so thank you.
Yes I thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook. It was almost like one of those autobiography read by that person. I just wish it had been the complete book. Unfortunately so much of the story is left out in this edition.
Yes I have all of the Anne and Avonlea books that are available already.
Megan Follows (who played Anne in the Sullivan Entertainment movies) reading Anne of Green Gables was like Anne herself telling the story.
Megan Follows needs to do the full Unabridged version of all of the Anne books.
I have read this book several times and love it. I was glad to hear Megan Follows read the book. This is a book that I believe will always be a timeless classic.
