Publisher's summary

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town, a media punch line, and the defendant in Mike's defamation lawsuit.

Her seemingly perfect life up in flames, Lacey retreats to her family's lakeside cabin, only to encounter an aggravating neighbor named Monroe. A hunky crime novelist with a low tolerance for drama, Monroe is not thrilled about a newly divorced woman moving in next door. But with time, beer, and a screen door to the nose, a cautious friendship develops into something infinitely more satisfying.

Lacey has to make a decision about her long-term living arrangements, though. Should she take a job writing caustic divorce newsletters for paying clients, or move on with her own life, pursuing more literary aspirations? Can she find happiness with a man who tells her what he thinks and not what she wants to hear? And will she ever be able to resist saying one... last... thing?

Just for fun

I enjoyed this book very much, mostly because Ms. Harper's sense of humor is a sharp as a shark's tooth. Any potential the characters had for sliding into caricature was carefully avoided, but there WERE some sharply drawn archetypal characters. Molly Harper is a great story-teller and the highest compliment I can give any author is that one of his or her books makes me want to read another. This book made me immediately buy another Molly Harper.

Amanda Ronconi does a wonderful job with the narration.

I love Molly Harper.....

What made the experience of listening to And One Last Thing... the most enjoyable?

This book should just be an automatic read for ladies over 27 or so ..... Laugh out loud fun as usual with Molly Harper. The forth book of hers' I have completed. Not one have I been able to put down for more then an hour or two!!!! Thanks again Molly and please don't ever stop writing or using Amanda Ronconi as the magical voice of your stories.......

What was one of the most memorable moments of And One Last Thing...?

I thought my favorite would be the reading of the Newsletter out loud....cracked me up!!!It turned out it was actually when she sat down to write her novel though.... Recovery is so much more fun......Oh and new beginnings :)

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amanda is the best Narrator ever!!!!
She can tell a story in a way that makes me never want to read again. I laugh because her voices for the characters and the way she speaks is so perfectly in tune with this author that I will listen to any available book by this combo... probably multiple times....

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Everything about Molly's writing style promotes extreme reactions..... It's just so much fun to listen to her work!!!!

Any additional comments?

What will Molly write next?????

Absolutely great!

First off if you enjoy a good laugh then Molly Harper would fit the bill... her writing is hilarious with a good story line. The plot moves along at a good pace and has a good number of "OMG no way" laugh until you cry moments. This is the 3rd book of hers I have read and each one seems to be as good as the first. Would definitely recommend her to anyone. I listened to this as an Audible but I am getting the hard copy for a couple of friends who are too old school to listen to or get a kindle lol. The narrator has done great with each book.

What was one of the most memorable moments of And One Last Thing...?

The swimming incident

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She's a good reader, so her chartacters have there own voice, plus the story really flows, which keeps you interested.

If you could rename And One Last Thing..., what would you call it?

Let see Don't judge a fictional writer by his grumpyness? Actually I really like the title, it really fits ;^)

Any additional comments?

Well I really enjoyed this one, lately I'm more into the supernatural stuff, but this one got it's grip into me and didn't let me go. Which is good, this got my attention and kept it. More please.

Every woman wishes they could get this revenge

If you could sum up And One Last Thing... in three words, what would they be?

Funny, Quirky, enjoyable

What other book might you compare And One Last Thing... to and why?

The female lead is a lot like the other female leads in Molly's books. They are real and strong women with a strange sense of humor.

Have you listened to any of Amanda Ronconi’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

She does a great job with the narration.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I have to listen when I can and actually relistened to it immediately.

Any additional comments?

Every book I have listened to or read by Molly Harper so far has been very enjoyable. I will keep buying her books. I haven't been disappointed yet.
