Publisher's Summary

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town, a media punch line, and the defendant in Mike's defamation lawsuit.

Her seemingly perfect life up in flames, Lacey retreats to her family's lakeside cabin, only to encounter an aggravating neighbor named Monroe. A hunky crime novelist with a low tolerance for drama, Monroe is not thrilled about a newly divorced woman moving in next door. But with time, beer, and a screen door to the nose, a cautious friendship develops into something infinitely more satisfying.

Lacey has to make a decision about her long-term living arrangements, though. Should she take a job writing caustic divorce newsletters for paying clients, or move on with her own life, pursuing more literary aspirations? Can she find happiness with a man who tells her what he thinks and not what she wants to hear? And will she ever be able to resist saying one... last... thing?

    "Lots of FUN !!!"

Molly Harper has another hit. Laughing out loud became a habit as I was listening to this book. People kept looking at me like I was a nut job. The story has just the right amount of humor and insight to make it believeable. Amanda Ronconi has this author down pat. Thanks for the fun Molly.

    "One of her best one"
If you could sum up And One Last Thing... in three words, what would they be?

warm, funny and full of mishief

What was one of the most memorable moments of And One Last Thing...?

    The swimming incident

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She's a good reader, so her chartacters have there own voice, plus the story really flows, which keeps you interested.

If you could rename And One Last Thing..., what would you call it?

Let see Don't judge a fictional writer by his grumpyness? Actually I really like the title, it really fits ;^)

    Any additional comments?

Well I really enjoyed this one, lately I'm more into the supernatural stuff, but this one got it's grip into me and didn't let me go. Which is good, this got my attention and kept it. More please.

"Molly Harper tells a good story"
Where does And One Last Thing... rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This was as funny and heart warming as the werewolf stories by Molly.

What does Amanda Ronconi bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Amanda's narration was great. She added to the story with her accent and voices of the various characters to bring them to life.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't want to stop listening to it and would have liked to go through it in one sitting.

"Love Molly Harper's sense of humor!"

I prefer her other two series, just cuz I like supernatural fiction (and maybe because I have an old ex-boyfriend story, too...) ;-) Still, Molly Harper's sense of humor, combined with Amanda Ronconi's delivery, well, it's a combination too good to pass up.

    "Very Snarky"
Would you listen to And One Last Thing... again? Why?

I started this book immediately after finishing Game of Thrones. It was the perfect selection after such a heavy, dark tale. I absolutely loved the sarcastic humor.

    Laugh out loud funny.

Since finishing it I have since listened to

If you want something mindless, simple fun with a feel good ending- this is a chick lit for you. Don't need to do any thinking- its funny and predictable.

    "A nice light read"

This book was not quite as funny, nor the heroine quite as sassy, as I hoped for. Still, it was a nice relaxing listening experience.
The only thing that aggravated me, but which is not specific to this book, is that everybody seems to have plenty of money. Who will write a boy-gets-girl story where the protagonist-s have to work and scrimp and save?
