Publisher's summary

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town, a media punch line, and the defendant in Mike's defamation lawsuit.

Her seemingly perfect life up in flames, Lacey retreats to her family's lakeside cabin, only to encounter an aggravating neighbor named Monroe. A hunky crime novelist with a low tolerance for drama, Monroe is not thrilled about a newly divorced woman moving in next door. But with time, beer, and a screen door to the nose, a cautious friendship develops into something infinitely more satisfying.

Lacey has to make a decision about her long-term living arrangements, though. Should she take a job writing caustic divorce newsletters for paying clients, or move on with her own life, pursuing more literary aspirations? Can she find happiness with a man who tells her what he thinks and not what she wants to hear? And will she ever be able to resist saying one... last... thing?

A Woman Scorned

I love Molly’s books and Amanda’s narration.Together they are a dinamic duo.I’m use to listening to her wolf books which are always great, this was a nice change though.Lacey was burned by her cheating husband, she retaliated in a very public way causing her to leave town till the gossip died down some.Staying in her late relatives old cabin, she meets a sexy man who helps her through her pain, shame and anger.Showing her that she’s got a lot to offer and helping her see the potential she has put on the back burner since her marriage. No longer stunted, living for some one else, she grows and thrives and finds a new love.

Hilarious

Very witty, laugh out loud funny! After finding out her husband cheated the main character does what we all wished we had in us after a bad break up.

Quirky and cute divorce

For anyone who's been wronged, thru a rough divorce, hateful side tricks, or just get it,
This is a funny, rough, straight out, no none sense point of story.
I loved it.

A Light Hearted Steamy Comedy

I got this gem on sale, and enjoyed the heck out of it. I did find one mistake regarding articles of clothing in one of the love scenes, but other than that minor glitch, loved the story (I can relate), and the narrator's comedic timing had me laughing so unexpectedly, I'm sure my office cubicle neighbor got startled. lol

And one last thing.....

The author takes us through a funny saga of divorce often evoking laugh out loud reactions. From parents who want to take control of the divorcing daughters’s life and alternately don’t want her moving in with them, to community folks who want all the gossip but avoid any possible scene with either partner of the divorce in fear, to new relationships, Harper delves into every category most with endearing humor!

Laughed out loud, Stayed up late to listen longer

What made the experience of listening to And One Last Thing... the most enjoyable?

It was written to reflect real life, real emotion and the main character acted on her emotions the way the rest of us wish we could. Molly wrote words to shadow my own thoughts and experiences. The love scenes didn't hurt anything eitther, amazing all around!

Fun & Satisfying

I found this book funny and totally satisfying. The author spins a tale of a philandering S.O.B. that gets caught with his pants down. The characters are amazing, they are either very likable or very hatable. I read and re-read the letter she sent out to family and customers and fell on the floor laughing each time. The author made me laugh so many times. A couple of times I was just screaming yes out loud with no regard to my whereabouts. "AUDIBLE 20 "
