Publisher's summary

Lacey Terwilliger's shock and humiliation over her husband's philandering prompt her to add some bonus material to Mike's company newsletter: stunning Technicolor descriptions of the special brand of "administrative support" his receptionist gives him. The detailed mass e-mail to Mike's family, friends, and clients blows up in her face, and before one can say "instant urban legend", Lacey has become the pariah of her small Kentucky town, a media punch line, and the defendant in Mike's defamation lawsuit.

Her seemingly perfect life up in flames, Lacey retreats to her family's lakeside cabin, only to encounter an aggravating neighbor named Monroe. A hunky crime novelist with a low tolerance for drama, Monroe is not thrilled about a newly divorced woman moving in next door. But with time, beer, and a screen door to the nose, a cautious friendship develops into something infinitely more satisfying.

Lacey has to make a decision about her long-term living arrangements, though. Should she take a job writing caustic divorce newsletters for paying clients, or move on with her own life, pursuing more literary aspirations? Can she find happiness with a man who tells her what he thinks and not what she wants to hear? And will she ever be able to resist saying one... last... thing?

Made me laugh

This book made me laugh out loud more than once. The author writes interesting, believable characters. The main character's brother Emmett, and her lawyer - are my favorites! Very amusing.

Creative, funny, cute, and sometimes infuriating.

Well if a woman be scorned this is definitely the book for her. There are perfect get back strategies at your spouse in this book. The way her husband did her is downright despicable and her retaliation wasn't the classiest and unfortunately backfired in her face. Which gave her a double whammy kick in the face. It was brilliantly written. I read it in a day.

Loved this story and Amanda Ronconi

This was a great story. I enjoyed it and though it was quite funny at times, as well ask realistic in the reactions. I think Amanda Ronconi did an excellent job at narrating it!

Heart wrenching laughter in every chapter

What did you love best about And One Last Thing...?

For every woman who has considered some form of vengeance, this story takes it to a whole other level with riotous laughter and humility.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lacey represents every woman with a cheating spouse or boyfriend. She is so much smarter than she gives herself credit and she spent years selling herself short. It's refreshing to hear her self discovery and forgiveness and figure out what type of relationship she really wants and needs with humor and eventually grace.

What about Amanda Ronconi’s performance did you like?

The Southern accents were dead-on. The delivery of punch-lines were perfection and moving from character to character was flawless.

Who was the most memorable character of And One Last Thing... and why?

Lacey of course...but I wanted to kick BeBe's butt over and over again and that made her memorable in a good and bad way.

Any additional comments?

I have listened to all of Molly Harper's book (except for the Werewolf series) and was a bit undecided about this one. I purchased it because I returned a book by another author and just needed something for my long ride to work. I could not believe how much I enjoyed the story... literally kept me laughing! of course, Amanda Ronconi brings the characters to life just as she did with the Vampire series... she's an incredible narrator!

Enjoyable but not fall on the floor funny

I'm happily married for 34 years. Many of my friends though are divorced and maybe they would find the story funnier. Performance was great. Not a waste of $5 and it passed the time. Dialogue was well done. I guess it was a 4 star because it was a little predictable.
