Publisher's Summary

Written from a Christian constitutional worldview, American Meltdown, Book Two of The Economic Collapse Chronicles uses dystopian fiction to take an in-depth look at the economic and political trends that have taken America to the edge of bankruptcy. The book assesses the current course of the nation and projects it into the near future.

In Book Two, America has entered into a full scale financial meltdown. The members of the Bair family do the best they can to navigate a complete currency collapse and the social disruptions that come with it. Having relocated to a rural area in Kentucky, the Bairs fare much better than the unfortunate masses still trapped in the cities.

In an effort to cling to power, President Anthony Howe announces the confiscation of provisions and guns. Several states, led by liberty-loving Senator Paul Randall, stand up to assert their sovereignty.

Knowing the intentions of the Federal Government, Matt, Adam and Wesley Bair train with the local militia who have determined to draw a line in the sand and defend the last remnants of liberty. The political conflict escalates into military aggression and the gloves come off.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Absolutely. As we approach the 2016 elections this book and its predecessor should be distributed in churches across the USA. Fictitious names have been created to protect the guilty but listeners will quickly decipher the characters in national leadership and realize this storyline is very plausible.

Would you recommend American Meltdown to your friends? Why or why not?

    Especially to a democrat.

What three words best describe Kevin Pierce’s performance?

Not very charismatic. I felt that he didn't capture the author's true emotional intent. There were several places where I wasn't clear which character was talking.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes, but there's no way Hollywood would touch this. Spielberg would have spastic fits.

    Any additional comments?

If you read the Bible, the political news, the financial headlines and such then you will like how this series ties them together. This book often quotes our Founders, who often quoted the Bible, and they warned us not to go where this country has now gone. This series describes the most plausible near term outcome, world war or natural disaster notwithstanding. It will definitely encourage you to start preparing any way you can.

This book will cause lefties to scream and spill their latte.
