Publisher's summary

On a trip to Italy Ferne Edmunds is dazzled by lighthearted charmer Dante Rinucci. What she doesn't realize is that it's easy for Dante to live for the moment when every day could be his last..

But when Ferne discovers she's accidentally pregnant, Dante's chance to be called "Daddy" gives him a reason to fight. This baby could save Dante's life..

Tear-jerking and touching, this is an emotional story that lingers long after the last page...

Wonderful!

First of all, this is a TOTALLY DIFFERENT BOOK than what is described in the Publisher's summary. This book is the story of Dante and Fern (a photographer), not Zach and Miranda (a writer). The plot is also completely different, so someone screwed up when they added this book to Audible. That being said, the book that is really here is EXCELLENT! It is well-written, funny, fast-paced and, in several places, heart-breakingly tender. It has plenty of heat without being explicit or raunchy. Dante comes off as a bit nonsensical at first, but once you find out more about him, the reasons for his actions all fall into place. Fern is strong and knows her mind, rather than the usual "damsel in distress." I also love the fact that the obstacle that potentilally ends their romance is not just bad coommunication or a silly misunderstanding, but a realisic and serious issue. I stumbled across this book quite by accident but feel like I found a buried treasure!
