Slow and sad
I thought this book dragged. Since it kept becoming more sad and alluding to another tragedy to come I gave up about 2/3 in. Also, I didn’t feel any connection to the characters so I didn’t really care what happened. I need more from a book than just descriptions of pretty clothes.
