"I just love Milly Johnson books!"

As always, I so enjoy Milly Johnson's books. Her stories are so easy to follow, funny, heart warming etc and this one ticks all the boxes.

It is a light read but sometimes you just need the simple stories. As with most of Milly's books she always has that "secret" which keeps you reading as you have to find out what happens and this one is no exception.

It centres around a bunch of girl friends who go on a cruise and testimony to the writing, after finishing the book, I jumped on a cruising holiday website.

If you love Chick-lit, don't miss out on this one,

    Story
    "Very enjoyable"

Characters were good with a likable protagonist. Pace was not fast but not plodding, and it was predictable but not in a way that detracts from the story. It is not difficult to guess how the story is going to end, but the journey to that end is very satisfying.

    "Absolute delight"
Would you consider the audio edition of A Spring Affair to be better than the print version?

    Well yes I would.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked the simplicity and could absolutely empathise with protagonist.

Have you listened to any of Colleen Prendergast’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't so far. But she is good.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Well I liked the book in its entirety.

    Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed listening to it and would recommend it.

    "So good"

I loved this book. The story is very believable and entertaining. I'll definitely be checking out more from this author. The narration was wonderful too. I'm so sad it's over.

    "a great 'woman's" story!"

This was a very entertaining book, The concept of clearing out the clutter in her house at the same time as she clears out the clutter in her life, is a very enjoyable read.
The English accent added greatly to the story. I could relate to the main character and found myself caught up in her emotions of her marriage ending and a new life starting.

Would you listen to A Spring Affair again? Why?

No but I did listen to the first few chapters after finishing.
